Solution: Power & Tel coordinated with the customer's management team to forecast and coordinate all shipments from a Miami location in sealed containers. Contents were documented by digital photographs.

Challenge: A consigned inventory arrangement involving multiple vendors with material staged at customer-owned-and-managed warehouses.

Solution: Power & Tel replenished stock based on exchange of X12 standard EDI document 852, including minimum and maximum quantity on hand, consumed today, and received today.

Efficient Delivery

Challenge: Delivery of high-volume, low-value goods to crew depots.

Solution: Power & Tel arranged for electronic transmission, using fully Web-based xtraNet, of complete order cycle (P.O., acknowledgement, change order, invoice, and payment) and barcode labeling specific to project and crew. The xtraNet also allowed for approval workflow for the customer - from management to the technician.

Training for New Products

Challenge: Limited access to newly developed communications products.

Solution: Power & Tel field sales staff coordinated training and demonstration of goods for ongoing education of Telco personnel.

Material Management
